NuggetPost is designed for post production applications that require a standalone video playback device with comprehensive media file format support.

As a Sony 9-pin compatible device, the NuggetPost provides variable speed and frame accurate playback of HD or SD video, including jog and shuttle capability. The included DoremiAM software manages the Ethernet transfer of popular computer video files.

NuggetPost has many post production applications. It excels as a video companion for audio post. It features visual cues for use in ADR, foley and mix stages. It can also be used in video post as a VTR replacement device that provides file playback support and instant access to the video.

As a video companion for audio post applications, it provides perfect sync with the audio workstation timeline via its Sony 9pin chase mode. Besides frame accurate chase, the NuggetPost features variable speed playback and the ability to scrub in perfect sync within the DAW session.

Advanced Features

Remote Operation
The Nugget features Ethernet and 9pin serial RS-422 control for remote operation. Supports Sony P2 and Odetics protocols.

RCV2 Remote Controller
The RCV2 9 pin serial controller provides complete
control of the Nugget’s video playback. Transport
controls mimic those on video tape machines.

Doremi Asset Manager
The easy to use Doremi Asset Manager software seamlessly transfers popular computer video files to the Nugget’s internal hard drive via Gigabit Ethernet. Available for the PC and MAC at no charge with your NuggetPost purchase.
