Doremi’s CineAsset™ is a software based digital cinema mastering solution that converts popular video files to unencrypted DCI MXF packaged files that can be played back on digital cinema servers.
Exhibitors can now convert and transfer 2D or 3D video clips such as local advertising, regional announcements, promotions or special interest content with the CineAsset™ solution.
The simple point and click user interface makes it easy to build clip databases. The software seamlessly handles the conversion and transfer of content into the server via Ethernet or USB. It can also scale and do XYZ’ colorspace conversions. Use the audio dubbing feature to add audio to your imported image sequences.
CineAsset™ can be networked to Doremi Digital Cinema servers and automated to transfer files to multiple servers. In addition to file transfer, CineAsset™ provides transport controls on the connected server*.
CineAsset™ 3D Merge and 3D Clip Splitting features allow merging two JPEG2000 clips into a single 3D file or extracting both eye streams from a 3D file and exporting them into two separate files.
A Final Cut Pro® plugin has been implemented for Mac users. The plugin allows users to export Digital Cinema packages directly from Final Cut Pro® saving valuable time in the post production process.
CineAsset-Pro™ adds a speed pack for compression/packaging speeds up to 20 frames per second using a 12 core computer system with adequate storage.
