DNF Controls Provides DMAT-O Sports Controller Solution
for Doremi V1 MultiChannel Servers

July 30, 2003 - DNF Controls announced today that its new DMAT-O Sports Controller now supports Doremi's V1 family of multichannel servers. The new product pairing, geared for live sports broadcasts, will have heads turning at the Broadcasters General Store's booth at this year's IDEA Show, July 13-16 in Atlanta. Using a two-V1 server configuration, operators in stadiums, mobile trucks, studio sports production, and news environments now can access up to two live camera feeds, as well as prerecorded graphics and video clips.

The DMAT-O for Odetics protocol-controlled video servers, takes advantage of Doremi's simultaneous record and playback capability, allowing the broadcaster to continue recording interviews and on-field action even after cutting away to spots. Operators are able to use instant replays for easy creation of highlight playlists, and time-critical operations are completed with just a few keystrokes.

"Our video servers set the standard for value and performance," said Ramzi Shakra, director of marketing at Doremi Labs. "The combination of a highly adaptive control solution like the DMAT-O with the V1 DDRs enable operators to take advantage of the broad functionality of our product line."

With the DMAT-O, slow-motion instant replay and highlight list creation/playback has never been easier. The DMAT-O allows users to build, maintain and playout highlight lists instantly. Other features include fast access to information using DMAT-O's easy-to-read display, while its simple control panel layout keeps the user in command. In addition, users can assign a playout speed for every element in their highlight list and personalize their control options for smooth, precise replays. The DMAT-O's T-Bar offers maximum and precise speed control while slomoing.

"This new product duo with Doremi underscores DNF Controls' commitment to offering fast, precise, and reliable control for video servers," said David Jaffe, vice president of sales and marketing for DNF Controls. "It is our mission to continue to provide the most comprehensive control solutions available for our customers around the globe."
