Tony Hawk success with Video Production Specialists'
first use of Doremi Labs' NuggetPro HD Video Player at E3.
Los Angeles, CA - E3.2006 - June 14, 2006 - Video Production Specialists (vpsusa.com) is first to utilize the advanced features and enhancements of the Doremi Labs NuggetPro HD Video Player in a successful display for the 'Tony Hawk - Project 8' Half-Pipe exhibit in the Activision booth at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) which included a personal appearance by Tony Hawk himself.
Video Production Specialists purchased three of the new NuggetPro HD units from Doremi based on the feature of a fixed latency and chase for multi-unit synchronization. This feature allowed VPS and Activision the efficiency of "no technical staff" in the booth for the duration of the event, saving the client thousands of dollars in labor costs for the duration of the show.
Three unique screens of 720P video were provided by Mark Rivard at the Hollywood Ad Agency, Trailer Park, (trailerpark.com) encoded for a precise 'frame accurate' playback supervised by Mark Burnett for Encode Experts (encodeexperts.com) and contracted by Video Production Specialists. Back up files were archived and stored on the latest blue laser optical disc, exclusively provided by HD video vendor Blu-Laser Cinema. (blu-lasercinema.com)
Nugget's superior resolution for HD video playback at 1080P, 1080i and 720P is a perfect match for the new generation of high-resolution video projectors, plasma and LCD displays. Video Production Specialists has already slated the NuggetPro for other live event applications in San Diego and Singapore.
