Doremi
Introduces the TSS-100
Digital TV Delay Server
Burbank, CA - January 15, 2003 - Doremi Labs is shipping its new
TSS-100 transport stream server for digital TV delay applications.
The TSS-100 performs time delay of any ATSC digital television format,
including both High Definition and Standard Definition formats. A SMPTE
310M signal fed to the input BNC on the back of the TSS-100 can be delayed
up to 13 hours. All video, audio and ancillary data on the signal are
fully preserved.
All TSS-100 functions are controlled by a Java based software application
via 100BaseT Ethernet. The control software allows the user to set the
desired delay time and start the delay process from any networked workstation.
The TSS-100 is built on a dedicated hardware platform in a compact 2
rack unit chassis. It is available at a low price point and provides a
reliable all-in-one solution for broadcast delay applications.
The TSS-100 is the newest addition to Doremi Lab's broadcast delay product
line. It joins Doremi's V1-MP2 disk recorder that offers broadcast delay
of standard video formats such as S-Video, SDI, composite, and YUV.
