Doremi Labs introduces the HDVI-10
SDI video to DVI converter
Burbank, CA - October 24, 2003 - Doremi Labs introduces the HDVI-10,
a SDI video to DVI converter. Priced at only $1,000 the compact HDVI-10
turns a low cost computer LCD monitor into an SDI or High Definition video
monitor.
DVI (Digital RGB) is fast becoming a standard interface on LCD computer
monitors, video projectors and HDTV televisions. Doremi's HDVI-10 effectively
turns these displays into affordable SDI video monitors. DVI's pure digital
format helps preserve the quality of the video.
The HDVI-10 accepts SDI or HD-SDI video and automatically converts the
signal to the DVI format. Depending on the display, the DVI-10 will either
scale the video to fit the screen or output the video without scaling.
The HDVI-10's SDI input supports a wide variety of video formats including
NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080p and 1080i. The input scan rate is automatically
detected and processed to match the connected display's resolution. There
are no buttons or dip-switches to worry about and the HDVI-10's compact
size allows it to be hidden behind the display.
A dual-SDI input version of the HDVI-10 is also available.
