The DMS-2000 is a complete DCI-JPEG2000 authoring system with extensive encoding parameter controls and support for bit rates up to 250 Mbs. It is the first product to combine all the tools for 2K and 4K image compression processing in one package.

The DMS-2000 features constant quality variable bit rate (VBR) encoding to produce the highest possible image quality at file sizes significantly smaller than those achieved with constant bit rate encoding (CBR). A smaller digital movie file size provides for reduced duplication time and distribution costs.

The DMS-2000 is currently the only hardware accelerated DCI-JPEG2000 encoder on the market. Competing software-only encoders are typically slower and require complex multi-processor workstations.

The system features a hardware accelerated JPEG2000 compressor in a Linux package with internal storage.
