Print and Web Designer
Graphic and web design position with some marketing support responsibilities.
Create brochures, flyers, postcards, magazine advertisements, trade show
banners, Lexan and some silk screen designs for products, work on website,
email newsletters etc.. Assist marketing director with promotion campaigns,
databases, tradeshows, product manuals etc.
Strong working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash
etc. Digital camera experience. Work with print house and photographer.
Complete understanding of all phases of the desktop publishing process
including: pre-publication content review, document design and layout,
photo color correction and trimming, typography and font usage, proper
format and resolution of graphics, and delivery of final digital file
for printing.
Candidate will be highly motivated and self-directed, able to prioritize
tasks. Must be able to work independently, making appropriate decisions
without undue input. The individual must be constantly seeking to increase
their knowledge and skills. Must have strong oral and written communication
skills. Dead line oriented.
Company has pro-video product line, familiarity with audio/visual products
a plus. Position reports to the marketing director.
This is a part time position. Up to 20 hours per week.

Technical Service Representative
Description:
Doremi seeks a digital cinema Technical Service Representative who will
act as technical liaison between the dealer/end user & engineering
by educating customers on proper troubleshooting, installation, interfacing,
setup, and repairing of Doremi servers. He/she will handle all incoming
technical calls & inquiries for digital cinema hardware and software
and report & track all customer problems/returns/repairs/ issues to
completion, as well as provide issue summaries to engineering, sales,
& production
Duties
· Responds to telephone, written, or Internet-based inquiries from
customers regarding products and technical problems.
· Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex problems, analyzing situations
through an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
· Provides input for installation and maintenance documentation
on products.
· Identifies trends and reports design, reliability, and maintenance
problems or bugs to engineering.
· Documents all technical calls, and creates sales orders and return
authorizations.
· Responsible for after-hours telephone technical support.
· Works closely with Customer Service, Engineering, Sales and Business
Development by participating in meetings to resolve customer questions/problems.
· Travel to support installations of hardware products.
Qualifications/Education:
· BS degree or equivalent experience with a comprehensive understanding
of cinema and video equipment.
· Proven computer networking and software skills including experience
with Linux platform.
· Knowledge of computer networks (LAN/WAN) and networking technologies.
· Ability to work without supervision and to deal professionally
with customers at all levels. Must have excellent communication skills.
· Proven problem solving and customer service skills.
· Must have excellent written, verbal and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently and within a team environment,
managing multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting specific deadlines.
· Must be competent in video electronics and troubleshooting techniques.
· Knowledge of standard cinema projection booth operations required.
SMPTE or AES member is preferred.

- Responsible for light hand assembly, including crimping, wiring, cabling,
and assembly of electronic components, motherboards, power supplies,
hard drives and chassis under minimal supervision.
- Some exposure to assembly or to a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Use of common hand tools, soldering irons and heat guns a plus.
