Location Burbank, CA. Doremi Labs, Inc. is seeking asenior software engineer to develop efficient reliable software forprofessional broadcast and digital cinema products. Linux expertise isa MUST. C++ expertise in real-time, multi-threaded environment isdesired. Experienced with both driver- and application-level C++ isrequired. This is a “hands-on” position thatrequires demonstrable success in the design of complex applications.The candidate should have been a key designer of commercially releasedproducts.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience in hands-on C++ development
• A minimum of 2+ years in Real-time C++ Linuxsoftware development
• TCP/IP, XML, SNMP, client/server development
• Networking expertise is a plus
• Experience writing both drivers and multi-threadedapplications in Linux
• Broad experience in low-level PC hardware andarchitecture, including: cache, memory management, Pentium/AMDcapabilities, motherboard architecture, PCI, IDA/ATA, SATA and RAID.
• GUI design a plus, especially Trolltech tools
• A BS in Engineering or Computer Science in required.
• Experience with video compression and streaming(esp. Mpeg2) is a plus
• Advanced degree a plus.
